The Gideons International is an Association of Christian business and professional men and their wives dedicated to telling people about Jesus through associating together for service, sharing personal testimony, and by providing Bibles and New Testaments.

Striving Side by Side for the Faith of the Gospel
Christian men needed to be continually strengthened in their walk with the Lord, and that by standing together in faith, they could accomplish great things for God’s Kingdom. Those formative years focused on who a man was before God and the strength and power of his personal testimony. Through associating together for service, Gideons challenge each other to strengthen their testimonies for Christ and fulfill their God-given responsibilities as spiritual leaders in their homes and churches.
We are God-called members, brothers and sisters in Christ, husbands along with our wives—striving side by side to effectively and joyfully reach the world with the Good News.
CORE VALUES
an intentional focus on the objective of winning others to the Lord Jesus Christ through the association of Christian business and professional men for service; personal testimony and personal work by Individual Gideons: placing the Bible - Gods Holy Word - or portions thereof, in hotels, hospitals, schools, institutions, also through the distribution of the same for personal use
an uncompromised belief that the Bible is the inspired, infallible and inerrant Word of God
business and professional men, except clergymen, who believe in the endless lake of fire for the unsaved
belief in the Lord Jesus Christ as the eternal Son of God
ongoing emphasis on the importance of fulfilling the spiritual objective of being men and women of faith
membership in good standing of an evangelical or protestant church, congregation, or assembly
MEETINGS
We currently meet weekly at Panera Bread in Farmington, MO at 7:45am on Saturday morning for breakfast, fellowship, scripture reading and prayer.
There is also a monthly meeting at Panera Bread on the first Tuesday evening of the month at 6pm for dinner, fellowship, and organization business and updates. Auxiliary members attend this meeting regularly.
MEMBERSHIP
Must be a business or professional man
Complete an application and have it approved by the membership pastor
Annual dues of $90 must be included with the application
The application is submitted for approval by Gideons International
Wives of Gideons who wish to join the auxiliary perform great services of prayer, support, testimony, and distribution. Auxilliary women assist in the major distribution of scriptures such as at colleges. They also take as their own the distribution of scripture to medical offices and nursing homes and other organizations.
